Megan Thee Stallion is officially stepping onto the Broadway stage. The Grammy-winning rapper, actress, and cultural icon will make her Broadway debut this spring in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, taking on the role of the flamboyant nightclub impresario Zidler.

The limited engagement will run for eight weeks, beginning March 24, 2026, and continuing through May 17. Megan Thee Stallion steps into the role following Bob the Drag Queen, bringing her own bold energy and star power to one of Broadway’s most visually spectacular productions. Traditionally known as Harold Zidler, the character serves as the charismatic heart of the Moulin Rouge, guiding audiences through the glamorous and chaotic world of the Parisian nightclub.

What makes this casting especially exciting is how seamlessly Megan Thee Stallion fits into the show’s modern jukebox format. The musical’s score, built around contemporary pop hits, will reportedly include subtle nods to her own catalog, potentially featuring musical influences from fan-favorite tracks like “Savage” and “HISS.” The integration highlights how Megan’s musical identity aligns with the show’s high-energy, genre-blending style.
While this marks her first Broadway appearance, Megan Thee Stallion is no stranger to acting. She previously appeared in the A24 comedy Dicks: The Musical, STARZ’s P-Valley, and Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
With her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge!, Megan Thee Stallion continues to expand her creative empire—proving once again that her talents extend far beyond the recording studio and straight onto the world’s biggest stages.
