‘American Horror Story’ Just Got A HUGE Renewal From FX

This comes as a shock to no one but, FX just renewed American Horror Story for an eighth and ninth season. This means more insane season theories, more gore and a lot more Sarah Paulson!

John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Production said of the series renewal, “American Horror Story launched the modern limited series revolution and—as evidenced by the most recent installment Roanoke—it remains as vital today as when Murder House stunned audiences six years ago. Each new chapter is a cultural event, beloved for every new twist in imagery, style, cast and plot. We are thrilled that Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and the entire creative team will continue to deliver the groundbreaking, celebrated American Horror Story for years to come.”

We really don’t know what future seasons of the series will bring, but we do hope to see that AHS: Coven and AHS: Murder House crossover sometime soon. Over the years, the 15-time Emmy award winning series has starred a ton of iconic actors including, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy among others. Surely an eighth and ninth season will boast even more famous faces.
