Since we heard that Netflix was going to be reviving the much beloved mother-daughter television show Gilmore Girls we’ve actually been beside ourselves with glee! We’ve seen glimpses of the Stars Hallow set, and photos from the cast on their social media platforms. However, other than announcing that the Gilmore Girls revival was going to be called Gilmore Girls: A Year In A Life, and that it was going to be broken up into four chapters based on the seasons we didn’t know much more. That is until today! Netflix just announced that Gilmore Girls: A Year In A Life will drop on Black Friday! That’s right, there is no need to go out shopping the day after Thanksgiving because the Gilmore Girls will be back Friday, November 25, 2016!

In the trailer, Lorelai and Rory seem to be gearing up for the holidays, but the most pressing questions that the duo have on the brain are if Amy Schumer and John Oliver would like Lorelai. (The consensus of course is that Amy and Loreli ultimately wouldn’t get along because of the comedians love for water sports.) As we get nearer to the release date, I’m sure we’ll get more deets about the revival. Until then, we’re just praying for the holidays!
