Haim Saban, the brains behind the Power Rangers, is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Pals David Foster and Simon Cowell will salute the Egypt native, who launched the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in America in 1993, during a ceremony in front of the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard on 22 March (17) – two days before the new Power Rangers movie hits the big screen.
Saban’s star will be the 2,605th unveiled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

His Power Rangers TV series is currently in its 24th season in the U.S., making it one of the longest running and most-watched kids actions series in television history.
