Burn Notice Season 3 Premiere
(Thursday, June 4, 2009)

The only thing sweatier than a summer in Miami is a new season of Burn Notice. Tonight’s premiere episode picks up where last season’s finale left off. Weston, the ultra-suave cad of espionage well-played by Jeffrey Donovan, is working his breast stroke to get himself back on shore. Remember? He rejected that aggressive recruiter (John Mahoney, who ironally, landed in the office of another Weston, à la In Treatment) and ejected himself out of that helicopter. We’ve got a spy with a conscious on our hands; he wants in on legitimate spy work. But with nosybodies coming at him from all directions — like Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation) investigating every itty-bitty tidbit on Weston and Ben Shenkman offering him an ebb and flow of freelance work — will Weston be able to use his impressive “skill” for the better good? Alas, a whole new season to find out.
