LeAnn Rimes’ life has taken a country music turn, with the 17-year-old crooner alleging that her own daddy helped ripped her off to the tune of $7 million. Today’s Dally Morning News reports that Rimes filed suit against her pa, Wilbur C. Rimes, and her ex-manager, Lyle Walker, on May 2 in a Lone Star state court. The complaint alleges that the two men conspired to skim her earnings for five years.
Wilbur split with LeAnn’s mom in 1997. Wilbur and Walker were shown the door as her managers in December.
An attorney for Wilbur calls Rimes’ allegations “completely false.”
