After years of commanding the big screen, Adam Driver is heading back to television in a gripping new Netflix series titled Rabbit, Rabbit. The show marks his first major TV role since Girls, where Driver’s breakout as the complicated Adam Sackler launched his career more than a decade ago.

Everything to Know About Rabbit Rabbit
In Rabbit, Rabbit, Driver stars in a tense hostage thriller created by The Batman and Top Gun: Maverick writer Peter Craig. The story centers on an escaped convict who, cornered by authorities at a truck stop, takes hostages in a desperate bid for freedom. What begins as a standoff quickly spirals into a psychological battle of wits between the captor, his hostages, and an experienced FBI negotiator skilled in “tactical empathy.”
The series will be directed by Phillip Barantini, fresh off his Emmy win for Adolescence, and produced by MRC, the studio behind acclaimed hits like Ozark and House of Cards. Both Driver and Barantini will serve as executive producers alongside Craig.
Rabbit, Rabbit received a straight-to-series order after a competitive bidding war among major streamers—a testament to Driver’s enduring star power.
In addition to this project, Driver will soon appear alongside Jessica Chastain in Apple TV’s The Dealer and in Jim Jarmusch’s upcoming film Father Mother Sister Brother, set for release this December.
With Rabbit, Rabbit, Adam Driver’s return to television promises the kind of intensity and emotional depth that has defined his acclaimed film career.
