Dave Chappelle’s Block Party – TMC
It was a dream day for the lucky folks who got to spend some time in Brooklyn with Dave Chappelle and his musical friends. What resulted was the 2006 film, Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, a documentary, directed by Michel Gondry, which emerged in theaters around the time the super-popular comedian went absent from his hit Comedy Central show.
Tonight on TMC, hip-hop and comedy fans can get another chance to see the positive and supremely entertaining spectacle, which features performances by The Roots, Kanye West, a newly reunited The Fugees, Erykah Badu, and Mos Def–all hosted by Chappelle.
