Judge bars TV cameras from Skakel trial

A judge in Stamford, Conn., has turned down a request by Court TV to allow it to cover the trial of Michael Skakel, the nephew of Robert Kennedy who is charged with murdering a childhood friend, Martha Moxley, 25 years ago in Greenwich. In reporting on the order by Superior Court Judge John F. Kavanewsky Jr., the Associated Press observed that while it addressed only the request by Court TV, the order suggested that the court would turn down similar requests from other TV news organizations.
