Stephen Colbert challenged Donald Trump to a game of “Trump or Colbert” on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
“For years I played an over the top conservative character,” Colbert told Trump adding, “Not as long as you did, but for many years. I was looking back over some of the things you’ve said over the years and sometimes I couldn’t figure out if I said them or you said them.”
Colbert read a series of quotes and asked Trump to identify who said them. The Presidential candidate correctly attributed five out of the seven quotes and actually came across as quite charming. One of the questions Trump missed was, “The real strong have no need to prove it to the phonies.” So who said it? Watch the full video the find out:
(It was a trick question. The answer was Charles Manson.)
