“I thought living behind these walls was possible,” Rick grimly states at the beginning of the latest The Walking Dead trailer, “I was wrong.”
AMC released the first trailer for the season 6 mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead and with it, unleashed a can of speculative worms. As it stands, it looks the like first half of the second half of season six will cover the No Way Out storyline. As the survivors attempt to fight their way out of Alexandria, we can except the body count to soar. So who’s the most in danger?
Well the trailer also gives us our first glimpse of “The Saviors” as well as the first mention of The Walking Dead‘s new big bad, Negan (played by Supernatural‘s Daddy Winchester, Jeffrey Dean Morgan). On their way back to Alexandria, Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha run into The Saviors, a group of particularly vicious survivors who use extreme violence and brutal killings in an attempt to establish a new world order. As the TV series continues to deviate from the comics, fans are left wondering, “Are Daryl’s days numbered?”
