Members of the cast and production crew of The West Wing have expressed public concern about what they claim is creator Aaron Sorkin‘s continued substance abuse, even while he attends court-ordered counseling sessions. Friday’s Washington Post quoted West Wing star Martin Sheen as saying, “He won’t stop. Not until he kills himself.” Sorkin, who was arrested at Burbank airport on April 15 after drugs were found in his carry-on luggage, told the newspaper: “I did something stupid. It was aberrant. I was caught; I’m paying the price. … I know I’m going to be okay.” Nevertheless, he acknowledged, “I’m a recovering drug addict. I will be tempted for the rest of my life.”
