Anderson Cooper took time out of his busy schedule of re-creating the peculiar contractions of Courtney Stodden’s face to defend Kim Kardashian‘s decision to end her marriage last night by adding all her haters to the RidicuList. You see, since she announced she filed papers to end her 72-day long union to Kris Humphries, people have criticized her for spending so much money on a wedding (HER SECOND ONE, DON’T FORGET!) at a time when people are struggling to pay their bills. Additionally, gay rights activists are furious with how little regard she seems to have for the concept of marriage, especially at a time when gays and lesbians around the country are still fighting for marriage equality. But Anderson Cooper doesn’t want to hear any more of that kind of chit chat. “Divorce is nothing to make light of, or take joy in,” Anderson says. He adds that if you’re one of the people who was rooting for this partnership to fail, then he pities you. And even though yes, Kim’s divorced now, she’s still not as big of a loser as you — or anyone else you know — who’s going to have to pay for their own wedding.
