Sandra Bullock has broken her silence in a big way — announcing that she has filed for divorce from Jesse James and, a little more shockingly, that she has adopted a baby.
Bullock revealed the divorce news to People magazine, saying, “Yes, I have filed for divorce,” and, “I’m sad and I am scared.” The news comes after several women came forward with claims of an affair with James while he was married to Bullock.
The Oscar winner really shocked fans by announcing in the same People exclusive that she has adopted a newborn son, Louis, born in New Orleans: “He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way.”

The baby was officially adopted in January, with James, but the couple chose to keep the news private.
