Miley Cyrus and The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth are not engaged. Despite the fact that the 19-year-old singer has been walking around sporting a diamond on her left hand ring finger, she cleared up that the jewel is not an engagement ring — and, that she and Hemsworth won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon.
“I’m not engaged,” Cyrus tweeted on March 26. “I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to tal about! It’s a topaz people!”
The couple’s relationship status came into question when Cyrus tweeted a picture of herself wearing the ring on Feb. 6. Then, on March 22, the Hannah Montana star shared another picture online.
