NBC News revealed Thursday that a second employee was recently treated
for anthrax infection, bringing to five the number of confirmed cases of
cutaneous anthrax reported in New York during the past two weeks.
The
woman, a desk assistant, was not identified. She reportedly was treated
successfully with antibiotics and is back at work.
