In the Motherhood Premiere

We dare purport that most American families do not consist of just two grown men and half of one (ahem, Two and a Half Men) or three grown men raising three young girls, give or take a twin actress (Full House). Notably missing from these scenarios is the matriarch figure. And In the Motherhood gives you three of ’em. Mamas — especially the single ones — have a little something to relate to, and whether it bring them hope (oh, wow, maybe I can get laid in an office cubicle, too!), reassurance (OMG, that is what it’s like to have a husband in the program!) or tips on how not to be (Mean Playground Mom, I am not!), the show promises something lots of sitcoms lack: reality … and the awesome Megan Mullally. It’s already succeeded as a web series, and now, your real-life anecdotes are getting the Hollywood treatment. Mothers, this is, gulp, your life (ABC, 8PM ET/PT).
