In what is consistently one of TV’s top rated specials of the year, tonight Barbara Walters unveils her gilded list of the 10 most fascinating figures of 2006.

Walters, deserving to be on the list herself for not only maintaining her pioneering status in reporting the news, but also for adding some much-needed suspense to daytime TV with the unbelievably amazing amount of The View-related controversies that erupted this year; however, instead of holding up her own mirror, Walters will sit down with the other people who made 2006 memorable.
