After a pretty awesome looking first trailer for Battle: Los Angeles arrived, we were pretty stoked. And after watching this second trailer, the level of stoke-age still remains quite high, despite the fact that Vulture claims this trailer makes it seem like “Independence Day with better special effects, less Will Smith.” Though I’m not quite sure I agree with that sentiment (I can still get a sense of hopelessness and a despair nuance that Independence Day never even came close to touching), how can you complain if that means we get another Bill Pullman motivational speech on the wings of a jet fighter? We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!
