It can be tough to make a hit tv series, and even harder to make a Season 2 of a popular series.
‘The Boys‘ was one of Amazon’s most popular original series and now it’s coming back for a Season 2. The first season was a series of Superheroes, but not like we’ve ever seen them before. On the outside, they looked like the Justice League, but on the inside, they were murderous and vindictive, and people loved it. But how do you recreate that magic from Season 1? Easy, you make an even better Season 2.
Chace Crawford and Jessie T. Usher’s characters had a lot going on at the end of Season 1. Chace’s The Deep was banished to Sandusky Ohio and Jessie’s A-Train had a heart attack. In the above interview, the two talk about their characters, A-Train’s motivation, and why you should watch Season 2.
Up next is Erin Moriarty (Annie/Starlight) and Jack Quaid (Hughie), the lovebirds of ‘The Boys’. Annie is the newest in the 7 and Hughie is the protagonist that really gets this story started. In this interview, the two explain their characters, their affection towards each other, and why people should watch ‘The Boys.
In this second in the series of interviews, we hear from Antony Starr (Homelander) & Aya Cash (Stormfront). Homelander is a much loved (or hated) character from Season 1 and had a lot going on at the end of Season 1; meanwhile, Aya is brand new to the series. We talk to Antony and Aya about where we find their characters, about being cast, and why Aya said yes to season 2.
In our first of 6 interviews, we talked to Karl Urban who plays Billy Butcher and Laz Alonso who played Mother’s Milk. The two boys talk about their characters, where we find them for Season 2, and why we should watch ‘The Boys’.
Check back all week for more interviews with the cast!
‘The Boys’ Season 2 begins September 4, 2020, on Prime Video.
