Charlie Sheen had nothing nasty to say about Two and a Half Men during his surprise appearance at Sunday night’s Emmys — perhaps because he’s struck a nice little deal with his ex-show.
In March, when Sheen verrrrry publicly lashed out against Men and its creator (Chuck Lorre), he also filed a $100 million lawsuit against CBS, asking for compensation for unaired episodes of the hit show and demanding that the out-of-work crew be paid as well. Now reports are circulating that the two sides have struck a tentative deal rumored to be worth somewhere in the eight-figure range.
Sheen shocked the TV-viewing world Sunday when he took the stage at the Emmys and said: “I want to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everybody at Two and a Half Men. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television.”
