We learned last week Kim Kardashian was devastated with how much footage of her new show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, depicted her soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries acting poorly and disrespectful towards other people, and that after watching it she realized she wanted a divorce. It was reported that Kim spent a significant amount of time telling editors what she did and did not want to make it to air (which as an executive producer, she could do), but now it looks like Kris has some issues with his involvement in the show, too.
Star Pulse claims to have sources who indicate Kris actually has plans to sue Kim for about $10 million because he believes now that he’s not with Kim anymore, he will be featured more on the show, which means he’s entitled to more compensation. One insider said, “He’s claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that’s why he wants more money. But Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he will be portrayed on the series.”
While I’m not sure you a person can sue anybody over something that hasn’t happened yet, I don’t think Kris’s fears are irrational or unreasonable. Kim is the one who has control over what scenes make it to air on E!, which means if she was feeling spiteful it would be very easy for her use various scenes to disparage or discredit Kris. But episodes would have to air in order for him to make a claim like that, which means there’s nothing he can do right now. However, it is a little fascinating that he’s even worried about anything in the first place, because it indicates he’s acknowledging some degree of bad behavior.
