The AMC reality series Showville is about two talent coaches who visit small, middle-of-nowhere towns and put on a talent show with local acts. The town then gets to vote on the winner, who recieves $10,000. In this exclusive clip from tonight’s Season 1 finale, the coaches travel to Hugo, Oklahoma. During the auditions, two contestants choose to sing the karaoke favorite “I Will Survive.” One of them is Kobe Bryant.
No, not NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers. This Kobe Bryant is wearing a leather jacket and jeans, and has a hint of a Southern twang. His singing isn’t that great, but hey, how’s his layup?
The Season 1 finale of Showville airs tonight at 10/9c on AMC.
