The ballroom is heating up early. Two reality TV fan favorites have officially been confirmed as the first members of the Dancing With the Stars cast for season 35 — and the announcement has fans buzzing ahead of the fall premiere.
The Traitors alums Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller made the big reveal at Hulu’s Get Real House Live event on April 22, with DWTS co-host Julianne Hough on hand to celebrate the moment.

What Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller Are Saying About Joining Dancing With The Stars
For Maura, a Love Island alum known for her fiery personality, landing a spot on the show feels like a dream made real. She credited manifestation for making it happen, saying she had the goal on her vision board long before the call came. Despite her enthusiasm, she’s keeping expectations grounded, admitting she’s not exactly a natural on the dance floor — though that hasn’t dampened her determination to give it everything she has.
Ciara Miller, best known to Bravo fans from Summer House, described her casting as the start of a new personal chapter. The two women, who bonded as fellow “Faithfuls” on The Traitors, are now looking forward to bringing that same competitive energy to the ballroom.

Their casting comes on the heels of a record-breaking season 34, which drew 72 million finale votes and crowned wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin — son of the legendary Steve Irwin — as champion alongside pro partner Witney Carson.

Season 35 will also feature fresh faces among the professional dancers, thanks to the upcoming spinoff Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro, where competitors will vie for a coveted pro spot on the main show.
