Saturday Night Live Presidential Bash 2008

Just before you head off to bed on the eve of Election Day and yield one last prayer (“Please, let so-and-so beat so-and-so’s butt tomorrow …”), reap the benefits of the SNL gang workin’ overtime on a Monday to bring back its quadrennial Presidential Bash. It’s just once every four years that we’re privy to a night of uninterrupted poli-impersonations — you know, Fred Armisen as Barack Obama, Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton, and of course, Tina Fey as the moose-killing, Russia-peepin’, bulldog-with-lipstick-wearin’ Sarah Palin (wink, wink). So tomorrow, when it’s just you and your ballot in that voting booth, just think back, “What has SNL taught me lately?” Soon, Will Ferrell as Dubya will be a distant memory …
