![]() ![]() Jennifer Garner, 0.5%
How She Did in Our Poll Last Year: Garner takes the No. 5 spot for the second year in a row this year, but her 0.5% of the vote is much lower than last year’s 6%. Sexiest Role: Since last year’s Daredevil, it’s a toss-up between that film’s angst-ridden, leather-clad Elektra and the tough-yet-sensitive Syndey Bristow from Alias. Perhaps the upcoming Daredevil spin-off Elektra, due out in 2005, will settle the debate once and for all. Sexiest Scene: You can’t beat the classics: Year one, episode two. Garner dresses up as a maid (sexy scene one), then doubles the impact with a skintight blue rubber dress with a choker and a long blonde wig. Talk about role-play. - Advertisement -
Physical Feature We Love: A cut, hot chick who can kick any guy’s butt? We loved it last year, and we love it now. In Her Future: The future is Garner’s future: she’ll star opposite Mark Ruffalo in 13 Going on 30, a time travel/romantic comedy scheduled for release April 23. (We’re all hoping she hasn’t been taking career lessons from Meg Ryan, whose venture into the genre with Hugh Jackman in Kate & Leopold was the beginning of a string of disastrous choices. At least for Garner, if this one flops, she’ll still have next year’s Elektra to come back with. |

![]() Diego Luna, 5.6%
How He Did in Our Poll Last Year: Luna is a first-timer on our list, but he catapulted into the Top 5 the same way he leapt into the hearts of women everywhere in Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights this year. Sexiest Role: Of course, Luna’s career didn’t start with his seduction of sweet little Romola Garai, and it wasn’t his sexiest moment either. That honor goes to his sweltering performance in 2002’s Y Tu Mama Tambien, the incredibly sexy coming-of-age tale that thrust him into the Hollywood spotlight. Sexiest Scene: With Luna, one’s spoiled for choice when it comes to hot love scenes: The spicy ménage à trois/homoerotic vignette in Y Tu Mama Tambien springs immediately to mind; however, for more conventional romance you can’t beat the smoldering dance scene in Havana Nights. Physical Feature We Love: It’s not so much a feature as an overall aura that makes Diego Luna so attractive. He seems so innocent and boyish, but there’s a mystery beneath that hints he knows a lot more than he lets on. - Advertisement -
In His Future: Luna has lots of projects in the works, including a role in this summer’s release of The Terminal, co-starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and a leading part in Criminal, a remake of the 2001 Argentinean film Nine Queens, due out in September. |
