The Kennedy Center Honors

Kennedy Center Honors – CBS

The 2006 Kennedy Center Honors, which pays tribute to leaders in entertainment across all mediums, airs tonight on CBS.

The ceremony took place on December 3 at the Kennedy Center’s Opera House and was host to both moving presentations–and one blunder-filled performance by ‘Daisy Duke’ herself, Ms. Jessica Simpson. Not blaming acid reflux, like her younger sis’ did after her butchering on SNLJess stated that an overflow of genuine emotion was to blame for missing lyrics and lines to “Nine to Five” in her tribute to Dolly Parton.
