How odd: We go almost two full months without a new Chuck, and now two in one night?
But hey, we’ll take ‘em any way we can get ‘em these days.
In the first new episode, at 8/7c, Chuck (Zachary Levi) comes across a secret L.A. meeting between Russian arms dealers, one of whom he pegs as Agent Casey’s (Adam Baldwin) ex-girlfriend; he pays her extra special attention. Elsewhere, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and Captain Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) hit a rough patch in their relationship.
Following another undoubtedly missable Celebrity Apprentice following the first Chuck, the rookie series’ season apparently wraps up at 10 /9c.
Having patched things up with Ellie, Captain Awesome asks Chuck’s permission to marry her, which he grants. Captain Awesome also asks Chuck to guard the wedding ring while plans are set into motion, which he also grants–only to lose the ring in a robbery at Buy More. Agents Casey and Carter (Yvonne Strahovski), meanwhile, think that the CIA is closer to uncovering “the intersect.” Chuck’s safety and identity are now at greater risk than ever before…
