The Knights of Prosperity – ABC
Television is heating up again. After what has seemed like an eternity of repeats and lackluster programming, normalcy finally seems to have reared its head. January stands to be an exciting month, full of mid-season series premieres and many returning favorites.
ABC kicks off the packed month tonight with the series premiere of The Knights of Prosperity, a much-talked-about program about a band of chumps who plan to turn their unsuccessful lives around by getting rich the easy way–stealing.
In tonight’s pilot we meet Eugene Gurkin (Donal Logue), a janitor who forms a ‘gang’ to rob Mick Jagger’s Central Park West apartment. Can a high-stakes heist, carried out by a janitor, a diner waitress, a cab driver, a security guard, and a college student, actually work? ABC hopes you’ll tune in to the premiere to find out.
The Knights of Prosperity airs Wednesday at 9/8c on ABC.
