Even if the rumors of a new Pee-Wee Herman movie aren’t true, it’d be OK because then Paul Reubens could dedicate more time to his guest-starring roles on the cool shows.
Before his recurring role on FX’s Dirt earlier this year, Reubens cemented himself in the 30 Rock Guest-Star Hall of Fame, with his turn as the wheelchair-bound leader of Austria. Tina Fey deserves much credit for conceiving of such weirdness, but Reubens brought him to life, and then death, hilariously.
Tonight he stars in another beloved quirky show, ABC’s Pushing Daisies, as a scent expert who smells something a little suspicious about Chuck (Anna Friel).
One of these days, someone’s gonna want him for a permanent role!
