Former Friends star Matthew Perry is hoping to return to primetime TV — he’s writing, producing and starring in a brand new sitcom.
The actor, who played Chandler Bing in the long-running series, is set to pitch his new show to network bosses this month, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The untitled project will see Perry play a sports arena manager, who is looking to reevaluate his life as he hits 40.
Perry has teamed up with Rules of Engagement writer Alex Barnow in a bid to land a hit.
He joins his former Friends co-stars Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox, who have both recently secured new TV series.
