Obviously CBS still isn’t tired of keepin’ it real, yo. The network that brought us “Survivor” has committed to yet another reality-based TV series produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Bertram Van Munster.
In the new show “Race Around the World,” eight pairs of people will travel to 11 cities in 30 days, performing a different task at each stop. The trek will begin and end in New York City.
Along the way, the slower pairs will be eliminated until just one is left. That couple will receive a yet-to-be determined prize when they land back in New York.

“Race” is scheduled to debut in summer 2001.
