Charlie Sheen‘s upcoming small-screen version of Anger Management has found a home on FX and will premiere in summer 2012.
Which makes sense: The network already airs reruns of Sheen’s Two and a Half Men — to predictably big ratings — and owns the cable rights to the 2003 Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson film of the same name on which the the series is based.
As was previously reported, Sheen will play a version of Nicholson’s character, an oddball therapist thrying to help a loose cannon reel in his anger — but resorting to slightly different methods.
