Michael Jackson fans have hit out at the creators of South Park — a new episode of the controversial animated series shows their idol living in Purgatory.
Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, David Carradine and Patrick Swayze — who all lost their lives this year — are featured in the latest episode, entitled “I See Dead Celebrities,” which depicts the stars waiting to enter heaven.
The King of Pop’s spirit takes control of one of the characters — and the plotline has infuriated fans of the singer, who have slammed creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the insensitive storyline.
One Jackson devotee rages, “It’s a disgrace. Michael had a hard enough time in life — why can’t they let him rest in peace?”
