Justin Theroux to Write Fox Animated Sitcom

Actor-turned-ridiculously-in-demand screenwriter Justin Theroux is stepping down to the small screen to create an animated series for Fox.

Theroux, perhaps best known as Jennifer Aniston‘s serious boyfriend du jour, will write the currently untitled half-hour sitcom, which centers on a character described as akin to a left-wing Archie Bunker.

Theroux has also written the screenplays for Iron Man 2 and the upcoming starry musical Rock of Ages.
