Katy Perry to Host ‘SNL’ in December

Katy Perry will host Saturday Night Live for the first time on Dec. 10.

She has previously served as a musical guest on the sketch-comedy show — in addition to a recent guest stint on How I Met Your Mother.

Perry announced the news via her Twitter page: “I’m SO excited 2 announce I’ll be HOSTING Saturday Night Live Dec. 10! This is the cherry on top.”
