Mark Wahlberg will executive produce an upcoming unscripted series about Boston’s legendary Teamsters Local 25, for A&E.
The reality show, tentatively titled Teamsters, will follow the renowned union in rough-and-tumble Boston. It hits close to home for Wahlberg, literally, as Boston is his hometown and his father was a Teamster.
“We believe A&E is the perfect venue to create a cutting-edge show that promises to be like nothing else on television,” says co-producer Stephen Levinson, who has collaborated with Wahlberg on HBO shows Entourage and Boardwalk Empire, among others.
