The Office triple threat Mindy Kaling has teamed up with Fox on an untitled sitcom that she will — like what she’s done on the NBC comedy series — write, produce and star in.
Kaling will play what is described as a “Bridget Jones-like” doctor: a professional woman trying, and often failing, to juggle her professional and personal lives.
The news comes after last week’s story involving an Office spinoff starring Dwight Schrute. Dropping like flies at Dunder-Mifflin!
