We all love a delicious twist or an unexpected resolution on our favorite shows. We revel in it. How else do you explain why we all love Breaking Bad so much? Bring on the shockers, TV writers. Just don’t bring on anything that will force our eyes to roll out of our heads.
This includes anything that “was all a dream” and any arbitrary plot points thrown in just for the sake of making things difficult (ahem, fake Amanda’s baby Jack in her belly over on Revenge, you are a giant cop-out). These are the big reveals that made us wish we could turn back time. The twists that made us cry foul. The handful of dream explanations that are killing us. These are the worst TV cop-outs.
