The CW Renews ‘Nikita’ and ‘The Carrie Diaries,’ So Now We Can All Exhale

 Credit: The CW

You can finally exhale, Nikita and The Carrie Diaries fans — the final two CW series awaiting to hear their fates at the network have officially been renewed. Nikita will return for a shortened fourth and final season, while TCD returns for its second season with no end in sight. The exact number of episodes each series will get will be announced next week at The CW’s fall upfront presentation.

Nikita and TCD were the last two of the network’s series that hadn’t gotten wind of their impending renewal or cancelation. Previously picked up series include The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Arrow, Hart of Dixie, Beauty and the Beast, and new series The Originals, a spinoff of The Vampire Diaries.
