This ‘GoT’ Fan Theory Proves Jon Snow Is Still Alive, But Another Stark Is In Grave Danger

Though we’ve watched the season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones twice, we’re still no closer to understanding anything about Jon Snow’s fate. However, The Night’s Watch hasn’t burned his body, and Melisandre is not at all who she says she is, so there is still some hope. Most importantly, Jon’s direwolf Ghost is still alive, and that could make all of the difference. If you hadn’t noticed, all of the Stark children’s direwolfs have been linked to their fate on GoT. Reddit user mehul1702 broke it down perfectly.

Robb’s wolf Grey was killed with him during the Red Wedding, while Sansa’s wolf Lady was killed on Robert Baratheon’s orders during season one of GoT. Shortly thereafter, Sansa’s life begins to crumble. Ned is killed, she is terrorized by Joffrey, her mother and brother are killed, and she is later forced to marry Ramsay Snow; and we all know how horrific her time with him was. Though Arya’s wolf Nymeria is missing from Westeros, so is Ayra. Meanwhile, Rickon’s wolf Shaggydog is still with him, and Bran and his wolf Summer are still together. In George R.R. Martin‘s book, he writes that when Bran was first injured he was only stable when Summer was near, or when he could hear Summer howling.

But let’s get back to Jon. Since Ghost is still alive and howling, there is definitely still hope for the bastard of Winterfell. However, this also means that things aren’t looking too good for Sansa. Though Brienne of Tarth and Podrick swooped in to save her and Reek last week, she’s still very vulnerable without Lady. Could she be the next Stark to meet a very dark end?
