According to reports, Javier Bardem has proposed to girlfriend Penelope Cruz “in secret” (as opposed to stadium-style Jumbotrons like the rest of us).
The actors, who began dating in 2007, recently denied rumors that Cruz is expecting their first child. The latest news suggests the pair got engaged during a recent break, and has announced its plans to wed to close friends and family.
Cruz had recently vowed that she would never wed, saying “I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.”
