Actor-turned-filmmaker Ron Howard recently reunited with his surviving Happy Days co-stars to bid farewell to late castmate Erin Moran.
The actress, who portrayed Ron’s onscreen sister Joanie Cunningham on the 1970s sitcom, passed away at her Indiana home on 22 April (17) after a secret battle with throat cancer.
Moran, 56, has since been laid to rest in a private memorial, which featured a bittersweet reunion of her Happy Days pals.
A photo of Howard posing with Scott Baio, Cathy Silvers, Marion Ross, Anson Williams, and Don Most has since surfaced online, although Henry Winkler, famed for his role as Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli, was noticeably missing from the group picture.
It’s not clear if he attended the funeral, but he did pay tribute to Moran online after the news of her death broke.
“Oh Erin… now you will finally have the peace you wanted so badly here on earth,” he tweeted. “Rest In It serenely now… too soon.”
