Who needs awards shows when you’ve got the Kennedy Center galas!

Even if you’re not a fan of honoree Billy Crystal, you’re certain to like at least some of the A-listers who roast and toast the actor/comedian, including: Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito, Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Lovitz, Rob Reiner, Martin Short, Robin Williams, Bob Costas, Jimmy FallonJohn Goodman and Barbara Walters. Sheesh, you’d think there was a swag booth or something!

With hits like When Harry Met Sally, the City Slickers movies and Analyze This/That, the man of the night–which was actually Oct. 11, when the show was taped–has a résumé deserving of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

Past recipients include Neil Simon (’06), Steve Martin (’05), Lorne Michaels (’04) and Richard Pryor, the first honoree (’98).

Tonight, Andy cruises the Gulf Coast, dining on tasty cuisine like squirrels, nutrias, opossums and raccoons. Mmmm! Wouldn’t it have been so much more efficient to simply scoop up and puree a bunch of roadkill?
