Riot Fest 2026 Lineup Revealed: Everything You Need to Know About This Year’s Festival

Chicago’s biggest punk and alternative music celebration is officially back. The Riot Fest 2026 lineup has finally been unveiled, and fans are already preparing for one of the most stacked weekends in recent festival history.

Set to take place Sept. 18-20 at Douglass Park in Chicago, Riot Fest 2026 will once again bring together legendary rock acts, punk favorites, emo icons, and rising alternative artists for three days of nonstop music and carnival-style fun.

Leading this year’s lineup are massive headliners including Tool, Twenty One Pilots, Pierce the Veil, and Alanis Morissette. The festival also features an impressive mix of artists spanning multiple genres, from punk and metal to hip-hop and indie rock.

Some of the biggest names appearing at Riot Fest 2026 include Rise Against, Nas, Iggy Pop, Pixies, Patti Smith and Her Band, Sex Pistols, Morrissey, The Hives, Rilo Kiley, Taking Back Sunday, Bad Religion, Bright Eyes, The Gaslight Anthem, Knocked Loose, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Insane Clown Posse.

Longtime Riot Fest fans can also expect plenty of nostalgia-driven performances from beloved bands including Bowling for Soup, Hawthorne Heights, Less Than Jake, The Starting Line, Armor for Sleep, Thursday, Saosin, and The Academy Is.

Since launching in 2005, Riot Fest has grown into one of Chicago’s signature music festivals. In addition to live performances across multiple stages, the festival is known for its carnival rides, arcade games, food vendors, and weddings. Last year’s 20th anniversary celebration featured appearances from Green Day, Blink-182, Weezer, and even actor John Stamos after years of playful teasing from organizers.

Tickets for Riot Fest 2026 are available now in several tiers, including General Admission, VIP, Deluxe, Deluxe+, and Backstage passes. Premium packages include perks like expedited entry, lounge access, open bars, premium viewing areas, and even side-stage experiences for select performances.

With more than 90 artists expected to perform and thousands of fans set to descend on Chicago once again, Riot Fest 2026 is shaping up to be one of the must-see music events of the year.
