Miley Cyrus is producing a comedy film about God. And that, America, is the best sentence I have ever written.
In addition to producing, Cyrus will also star in the movie, which will be a Paramount film. Cyrus’ mother Tish Cyrus will co-produce. The plotline centers around a broken promise to God. I imagine there to be a little Bruce Almighty mixed with a little Raise Your Voice. Maybe some Gattaca, but that’s just wishful thinking.
Miley Cyrus will also has two other films in the can: So Undercover, an action-comedy, and one titled LOL (it was only a matter of time before that happened), a comedy starring Demi Moore.
Writing Cyrus’ God-themed comedy will be Sam Brown and Jack Angelo. As long as it’s not a Oh, God! remake, it should have potential.
