Has Katy Perry found a new love interest? Just weeks after the 27-year-old singer’s divorce from actor Russell Brand was finalized, Perry was spotted traveling through Europe with handsome French model Baptiste Giabiconi, 22.
Perry and Giabiconi left London and took a Eurostar train together to Paris on March 19. “They were very relaxed and happy and got no special treatment,” a witness tells Us magazine.
But the pair, who were also traveling with friends, didn’t seem romantically interested in each other. “They were all chatting away like best friends — looking at magazines, looking out the window, just relaxing,” describes the witness. “They just looked like two people traveling with a group of friends.”
Still, Perry and Giabiconi’s outings didn’t end there. On March 20, they were seen exiting Le Montana nightclub together.
Even if they are just friends, it would be interesting to know how Brand feels about his ex-wife’s rendezvous. Brand, 36, and Perry’s divorce was only just finalized in February — and Perry hasn’t exactly been hanging out with just anybody. Giabiconi is the face of Chanel, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld — and is reputed to be the highest paid model in the world. That can’t be settling too well with Brand.
