Just don’t come home smelling all “monkey.”

Peter Jackson:
“I think what was most important was to help people to be able to connect with Kong. Both in the way that he is portrayed, his performance, his character, and also just technically to make him believable. I knew going into this that the movie was ultimately going to live or die on whether you believed in Kong and your suspension of disbelief…” [Full Interview]

Naomi Watts:
“…every thing that you see on the screen is Andy Serkis. I mean, yes, there’s been some magical stuff happened in the post production special effects, but all the emotion, all the movement, how you see that ferocious face turn from that to sort of a smile come over him and a light in his eye, that’s all Andy. Adrien Brody:
“…I think it’s very brave to create a kind of reluctant hero, a leading man that’s not the typical kind of overtly muscular guy. It’s a guy who is just like Kong: pulled out of his own element and forced to go fight for the things that he loves…” [Full Interview]

Jack Black:
“…I just wanted to party with Peter Jackson. Honestly, that was like a kind of a secret goal of mine. And it was unbelievable…” [Full Interview]
