The ’10’ List

Every week, Hollywood.com lists the 10 coolest celebs, movies and goings-on in the world of entertainment.

1. Rapper Kanye West, again, for hitting out at white musicians who try to sound black. “I hate music where white people are trying to sound black,” West said. “The white music I like is white. I like Franz Ferdinand. That’s the s**t.” (Editor’s note: We’re debating giving West permanent placement on The ’10’ List for his proven ability to act, say, do, or think something cool at least once a week.)

2. Rock patriarch Ozzy Osbourne, for his endearing lack of Hollywood knowledge. Ozzy responded with “Who the f**k is Colin Farrell?” when told about reports the Irish actor may play him in a movie biopic.

3. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, for crowning the ABC castaway skein Lost best drama, rather than handing it off to NBC’s preachy presidential program The West Wing.

4. Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger, for being grossly indulgent–and admitting it. Ledger said he went to extremes to compete with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal on the set of the Western. “I actually ate two or three bars of Cadbury’s chocolate each day to get as hyperactive as Jake. I just got fat by the end of the film.”

5. The musicians behind animated band Gorillaz, for finally unveiling themselves. Until now the group, led by Blur frontman Damon Albarn, have only performed live behind a screen. The group will unmask themselves at a forthcoming British gig in a series of concerts at the Manchester Opera House Nov. 1-6.

6. Friends Ross and Rachel’s famous lip lock, for topping a TV kissing poll in TV Guide magazine. The TV couple, played by David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, first locked lips in the second season of the sitcom.

7. Buxom blonde bombshell Anna Nicole Smith, for being so blasé about her breast implants. “I went up to 211 (pounds) so I stretched to double-Fs, and when I lost all the weight I went way back down, except my skin didn’t. It was not pretty,” Smith said. She admits she opted for a C-cup implant but didn’t like the way her nipples pointed downwards, so she went to a D, then a double D and then an F before settling for her current choice–a size she refuses to disclose. Smith also explains her new breasts are like tires; they need changing from time to time: “You get scar tissue. You have to go in every five years and change them out.”

8. Director Quentin Tarantino, for creative cinematography. Tarantino was reportedly so taken by actress Vivica A. Fox‘s bottom while they were working on Kill Bill together, he insisted on using specialty equipment to light it. “When I made the film Kill Bill, Quentin said that I was famous for my derriere, so, on certain shots, he would have a booty light,” Fox explains. “We did the fight choreography and when I kicked (Uma Thurman) through the door, there was this special light on my booty.”

9. John Stamos, for being a heck of a good sport. Stamos has given his ex-wife Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell‘s wedding plans his blessing. Romijn and O’Connell announced their engagement earlier this week–just seven months after she divorced Stamos, officially ending their six-year union.

10. Bend It Like Beckham star Keira Knightley, for being mature for her age. “I’m European, and I need a glass of red wine with dinner,” said Knightley, who hates the fact that at 20, she’s too young to drink in America.
