Due out next May 8 and directed by J.J. Abrams, the latest in the Trek ouevre chronicles the early careers of the Enterprise crew. Yes, Leonard Nimoy will make an appearance as Old Spock, but — unless it’s a big surprise — William Shatner’s Old Kirk will be MIA. Not for the lack of his trying.
